New mobo/cpu, cant find SSD

Hey, so I just upgraded mobos frok an older gigabyte to a gigabyte z20 as well as upgrading my cpu from an intel 2600 to intel 7700.

Everything boots fine and the PC sees my HDD with windows on it no problem but cannot locate my SSD for some reason. Anyone kmow why this is?

Ram: 8GB Critical DDR4
GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 (build 15063), 64-bit
HDD: WD 500GB HDD
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-Z270-HD3 LGA1151 Intel 2-Way Crossfire ATX DDR4 Motherboard
SSD: Samsung 500GB SSD, worked on previous build fine, unable to find on new mobo/cpu
