Good evening all, I'm looking for a gaming laptop and i don't have a ton of money and because of that I was thinking of getting the Lenovo N23 - 11.6" - Celeron N3060 - 4 GB RAM - 128 GB SSD. I only need to run Garrys Mod and Insurgency and I have no idea if this would be a good laptop to get because i know absolutely nothing about computers.
Thanks in advance

It is a basic laptop that basically good enough for web surfing, emailing, skype and watching videos.

If you want to play some basic games then I recommend the following Acer laptop with an i3-7100u and Intel HD 620 graphics core for $350. It is by no means a "good gaming laptop", but it can play some old and non-graphically demanding games. For example, Skyrim will be playable at 1366x768 resolution with default settings. But playing that game should be possible at 1920x1080 if you are willing to do some research on how to edit the SkyrimPref.ini file and download some performance tweak mods. At the very least Skyrim should be playable with tweaks at 1600x900 resolution since I customized the game for a friend a few years ago that was...

It may cost $100 more (1/3rd) than the Lenovo, but the performance of the Acer far exceeds the Lenovo laptop. The Intel HD 620 should be able to handle Garrys Mod since Valve's Source Engine is old and not very demanding. You should be able to play any Value game that uses the Source Engine without many issues. The newer Source Engine 2 is more demanding though.
