Hey guys i need some help to confirm my "build" is possible without burning my house down ty (keep in mind I'm bad at all this so pls dont hate ty)

my build:

GPU: GTX 960
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i (is 7 1700 stock cooler better? idk)
ASUS PRIME B350M-K
I have 8GB ram but i dont remember what its called.

Any help is appreciated

That stuff will work together provided the RAM is on the motherboards QVL list. If it isn't you are in for a world of heartache.

The Corsair is better than any AMD stock cooler.

oddly enough most of the LPX series will in fact work with Ryzen motherboards and Corsair says so and offers support.

Not sure if you threw a dart and got lucky or you planned it, either way, you should be good.

Yeah, RAM is really expensive right now and that absolutely sucks.

I build a lot of PC's both Ryzen and Intel and getting the right RAM for either platform is a total pain in the ass.

Be patient, look for deals, check pc part picker, build a pretend PC and let it find the best price on compatible RAM.

An SSD is a solid state disk, normally we install Windows on the SSD and install things like Steam on the secondary spinning disk (the seagate you have in your case.)

It makes boot times and swap file times incredibly fast. The common size for the application now is 256GB. example

And what's this RAM you have? because Ryzen are particular about their RAM.

That specific RAM won't work in the new build the RAM you were researching above will. You have DDR3, you need DDR4 for the new build.

Your temps are more than fine though.

A320 boards don't feature overclocking and thus make that water cooler really not essential.
