Best Overclock for my RAM/CPU? (Ryzen 1600)

Motherboard: BIOSTAR X370GT5-NF AM4 AMD X370
PSU: Thermaltake Smart Standard 750W 80+ Bronze
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance @2993Mhz w/ 1.485V (Stock speed: 2400mhz)
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 @3.9ghz w/ 1.4V
CPU Cooler: Ryzen 5 1600 Stock Cooler
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970 GeForce
Case Fan(s): HP Pavilion 500-214 Default System Fan
HDD: HP Pavilion 500-214 2TB HDD 7200RPM SATA
SSD: None
OS: Windows 10 Professional 64-bit

So I have no idea if these settings are really okay. I just followed a video from YouTube and put these settings and tested them. They seem fine, but I have stutters in games. I feel a bit skeptical about the RAM because I want to get a good speed, but I don't want the voltage too high, but to get good speeds, I have to have it near 1.45V.

My CPU, I feel like it's okay for now because I'm going to get an AM4 bracket for my Hyper 612 Ver.2 on January 2 because the website hours are down now.


So please, if someone can help me now, I would gladly appreciate it. I don't want something to fail after spending $400+.

your ram speed is optimized for XMP 2400 MHz,
i personally, wont go beyond that speed

i also have R1600
i found 3,8 is easy achievable without increasing too much voltage , mine run on 1,25v on B350
above that, you need to add significant increse of voltages , max i found stable 3,95 on 1,387v. 4.00 never stable even at 1,45v

if you have stock cooler, i recommend to stay on 3,7 on stock voltage 1,2375v (your achievement might be different)
just try and error, it is really save if you dont push your voltage too high

What kind of temps are you getting at load on everything? CPU/GPU/RAM? As long as your temps are all right you should be good for a while. Stuttering could come from a bunch of different places. First place to look when you're overclocking is temps. Too high and stuff will throttle trying to stay cool. 2) don't just punch things in, find out what the settings your inputting to and how they affect your computer, may take you longer to overclock, but you'll be a lot happier with the results. What is your exact RAM kit? All RAM is *not* created equal and on Ryzen RAM can have a big impact on system performance.

I don't know how to check RAM temp, but my temp for CPU idle/load: ~30C/70-82C

GPU idle/load: 28-33C/70-78C.

I feel like this isn't bad. Once I get my AM4 bracket, the CPU will drop on the load, as well as idle (possibly).

I didn't punch things in as well. I slowly crept my way up to 3.9. I started at 3.6 (the boost frequency) and went to 3.9. For RAM, I did the same thing. Each speed.

Right now, I slowed my speed to 2667, and it seems to be stable. I want to achieve at least 2933 (I don't know the ram speeds), but it requires a lot of Voltage. I want to know what is good for the voltage to achieve 2933 with my sticks (I bought 2 of those sticks)
