Hi,
So I recently bought a new GPU and computer case and switched all my components over. Now I am getting a regular occurrence where my screen will freeze but my mouse still moves. I notice this a lot when I am just browsing the internet and watching videos. It also happens a lot when I am gaming.
I only play Overwatch and lowest settings and average about 150 fps. Now I can usually get a few gamess until the screen will freeze with the sound effects and everything in game can still be heard. It will stay frozen for a few minutes until I get disconnected from the server.
I tried to put my old GPU back in but now the freezing problem has transferred over to my old hardware where I never had this issue in the past.
What I've tried so far to resolve the issue:
-I've tried to do clean installs of video drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)
-Tried lowering clock speed over video card using MSI Afterburner
-Opening case and freeing up space with cable management
-Tried putting old video card (AMD 6950) back in but now notice that the same freezing problem now occurs where as before I did the upgrade I never had any issues with my old hardware. Now believe it isn't a video card issue.

Windows 7
CPU - Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz - resting temp 50c, gaming temp ~60c
RAM - 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz
Motherboard - ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8Z68-V (LGA1155)
GPU - 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (ASUStek Computer Inc)
PSU - Corsair 750W
Storage -55GB ATA Corsair Force 3 SCSI Disk Device (SSD)
-931GB ATA WDC WD1002FAEX-0 SCSI Disk Device (SATA)
