cannot change wifi password..

hello guys!.. need your help, my router is Huawei HG8245H and for some reason it's unable to change wifi password, "not login ones" it has password but its look like default, when i'm tryin to make a new WLAN, it automatically have the passord "wpa/wpa2 preshared key" and when tryin to change, it cannot.. even i cant remove the check mark when we want to see the password instead of dots..
can anyone help me?.. thx before

Sounds to me like you are trying to change the WiFi password on the wrong screen of the router configuration utility.

What you are looking at are the existing WiFi settings - - you need to be on the screen which allows those settings to be changed.

Never had a Huwae router so I can't be more specific, but on my Billion router's config utility, the "current settings" and "Advanced - Edit Settings" for WiFi are on separate pages or screens. Like The Paladin says, you need to be in the "Advanced" section.

If you are struggling, go to the Huwae website & download the User Manual for your router model which is here:
