okay i have an ASUS Z170-E Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard an it has this Speed up with onboard M.2 up to 32Gbit/s

Do yourself a favor and purchase a 2.5" SSD rather than a M.2-type drive. For example, the Samsung 850 EVO is a very nice piece of equipment and you will not be able to tell the difference in performance (speed of operation) between the M.2 and a 2.5" SSD. And there have been issues with the M.2 type of SSD with a considerable number of PC users with respect to installation & operation of the M.2 type of SSD. With your Z170 system I'm sure you'll be pleased with the performance of a 2.5" SSD with its simple installation (& removal if necessary in the future) and performance.

I have a Asus Z170 MB also with m2. Samsung drive for boot. When I first did the install it seemed very fast over last two years seems to be slower. I think Artpog has a good point , I just cloned a hdd to Samsung Evo SSD on my daughter's x51 Alienware. Man what a difference I think it boots faster now than my z170 with M2 drive.
