So I recently upgraded my power supply and I was rewiring some different things in my case the other day, as well as adding an additional fan to the case. The Phantom 410 has a fan controller preinstalled with support for up to 7 fans in total, and I was adding the 7th fan. All the fans are connected using the 3-pin connectors. When I went and plugged everything in and booted up the computer, none of the fans were spinning at all.
I checked everything two or three times - the 4-pin molex cable is plugged into my power supply, and the power supply molex cable is not at fault. Three of my fans are able to be plugged into the power supply directly, and that works fine. But the fans simply run at 100% all the time, and I'd like to be able to control them with the case's fan controller as I was previously.
Is there something I'm missing here or is this a problem with the fan controller itself?
