We can't help you if you don't provide info about your system and what CPU you installed. Was it on the compatibility list?

put the old cpu back in. if that boot, it the new cpu, if not, you did something when you change it.

What motherboard? T674K, U562N, a different one?

I would suggest downloading a piece of software like Speccy which can help identify the motherboard model. Otherwise no-one can provide you with much help as that Dell model has different configurations.
