Need help with first gaming PC

Solution
Looks good to me. Should be a great gaming PC at 1080p and 1440p. Be careful when using the Arctic Silver 5. Don't get any where it shouldn't go, like the motherboard. It is electrically conductive. But it is very good. Might want to consider MX-4 as an alternative; it isn't conductive and is as good as AS5.

You don't need extra cooler or thermal paste. Ryzen 1600 comes with a good stock cooler with thermal pasted pre-applied and is similar to the one you chose.

8gb is too small for your budget, 16 gb is more appropriate.

What is your total budget on the rig including monitor? Major usage other than gaming? Gaming at what resolution and what games do you play?

SSD is good to have too.
