I have roaches in my computer and I’m wondering how to get them out. Could I take all the parts out and spray the inside of the case with water or sit it in the tub to get the roaches out that way? If so where do I place my motherboard and graphics card where static doesn’t damage them? Ps. I have roaches in my house and plan on getting it sprayed and bombed.

"I don't think the bomb will hurt the PC anymore than the roaches already have. The problem with them is that they poop on the circuitry. You're basically going to need to disassemble every component down to the circuit boards and clean everything with isopropyl alcohol to remove the bodies and their poop. I wouldn't put the new PSU into it until the roaches are dead and you've cleaned all components and the case or they'll just fry the PSU and maybe even other components again." Step one would to be pest control because I'm sure that it's not just your PC with has roaches. Next step would to clean your pc through. You are going to be lucky if nothing has gone bad.

Allright, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

When I used to run my PC's at sub zero temps 24/7 the boards would be coated with dielectric grease. At some point that had to come off. I even had a mineral oil bath cascade at one point.

Anyhow, disassemble the unit and spray it with brake cleaner from the auto store (outside, fumes man) and it will come clean, allow to dry 24 hours and put it back together. I mean even take the heatsink off the gpu disassemble , throw the PSU in the trash, you shouldn't play with those unless you're tech savvy.

Don't douse it too heavy and spray at an angle.

I've done this about 100 times or more.

Actually, I have read every response and they're either trolling or just telling me i have roaches else where and to bomb my house. I'm not getting answers on how to safely clean my pc case and parts to remove the roaches from there.

How hard can it be? Disassemble the PC, outside your home. Blow out the case, don't use water. I use one of those squeeze bulbs people use to blow dust off lenses. Check each component, which can be stored in a cardboard box while you work, for roaches or roach related material. Use alcohol to clean off any gunk that you see. Reassemble the computer. I'd wear gloves and a cheap face mask/air filter, or use a bandanna. As long as it blocks out the roach dust that will fly around. Don't bother doing this until after the house is clean of roaches or your computer will get infested again.

So again you've been told
