Hi, happy new year to all. So, here’s the thing:

I was playing on my pc and suddenly the screen turns red with a lot of gray lines (at least that is the color I remember it turned) and it crashed, no response from either mouse or keyboard input. So I restarted my pc and since then I cannot get image.
So, I tried a couple of things, I changed my hdmi/hdmi connection to the monitor for a dvi (gpu) to hdmi (monitor) and I got image! I entered BIOS conf and noticed two wide vertical greenish lines , tried to start my pc a couple of times and I couldn’t. Whenever I reached what I believe is the starting screen with the windows desktop the screen turned black and crashed. So I thought that it might be a software issue with Windows 10 and I reinstalled it on a clean disk partition , all was going ok until it reached the final stage of installation, asked me to restart and after some messages of welcoming the screen turned green. Since then whenever I start my pc it starts loading windows but it turns green screen at the end. I changed back to my hdmi/hdmi connection and now I dont get the image of loading Windows , but I do get the green screen at the end.

Given all my explanation, I tend to believe that this is a gpu issue but I’m not sure, I will try to connect a different video card to try what happens, but wanted an opinion from you guys

Thanks in advance for any response you can give me

Cheers

It sounds like when the videocard is cool and not being asked to do much, you get an image. But once the computer starts demanding more, it crashes. This could be the videocard, or the power supply. The lines make me think it's the videocard card.
