Hello,

For a little while I have been having an issue when booting up my pc. I keep receiving the error message "Reboot and select proper Boot Device". However when I shut down and boot back up then press F11 to go into bios then immediantly exit bios it goes to boot up just fine. I've had to keep doing this so it can boot into the os.

There are no other removable media devices plugged in, (USB'S etc) i've tried runnig a smart scan to see if there are any issues with the HDD but says there are no issues. Ive checked all the issues inside the pc and nothing looks damaged or disconnected. I've also checked the load order in bios and everything seems to check out. This is driving me crazy I can't seem to figure it out. Any help the community can give would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Solution
Try putting a new battery on the motherboard. What you describe has happened to me many times. In my cases...the batter dies...the BIOS forgets....and then it does an autodetect when you enter it and then it boots.
