First PC Build, hoping someone could take a look at it in case I missed anything (compatibility, etc.)

Hi everyone, this is my first build and I've been revising and changing it for the past month or two. I believe after seeing a friend's similar PC in use and the prices currently that this is what is best for me. Here is my pcpartpicker list:

I think i should explain a few things about it first. I got the 8700k because I wanted to have a solid strong cpu that could handle most anything (CAD, multitasking, overclocking, etc.) and would not have to upgrade for a while.

I got the 1060 because I wanted a good budget card that was solid enough to run everything I wanted moderately, but had room for improvement. Originally I had gone with the 1070ti, but after seeing a friend's 1060 in action (running AAA titles on high at 100+ fps), I decided to go with it. The 1070ti and 1070 were just too expensive for me when I could run everything i wanted with a 1060.

As far as the case, cooler, power supply, and ram and storage go, I got all of those from friend help/experience and reviews and ratings. All of those are open for fluctuation, but I am almost at the max for my budge currently.

Thank you,
Dalton Ezell

Solution
Compatible, but kind of unbalanced build imo.
cooler too weak for 8700k overclocking
motherboard weak on VRM, no good for overclocking
8 gb ram too small, 16 gb 3200 dual channel is preferred
PSU is OK, but I will get better units

Can you explain more on your multi-tasking?

yea, i know i need more ram just buying one for now as it is so expensive lol. i was hoping two sticks of 8gb 2800 would be good enough.
I had just went for the motherboard as it was MSI and cheaper, not sure how to judge the motherboards on how good they are.
I hadn't planned on overclocking for a while, just wanted to have the option later on down the road.
for the psu, if i could find a better unit on sale i could go for it, but otherwise all of the higher wattages were expensive.
as for the multitasking, i just meant having multiple programs like cad, design software, nesting software, etc running at the same time.
