Is it possible for my motherboard to support 3 ram sticks, 2 in dual channel and one single channel?

I've got a Gigabyte Z97P-D3 motherboard but I'm unsure if it supports ram being run in both dual channel and single channel as I'm running 2x4 Gb 1600mhz in the dual channel and I'm thinking of getting a 1x4 Gb 1600mhz stick. All of them run on 1.5V.

A little short on money and don't really want to buy a full 2x4 Gb sticks. Thanks for the help!

It might work and might not. Anytime you add memory that was not sold in a matched set their no guarantee it will work together.
