Hey guys,

First off - happy new year :)

I'm in the market for a 1440p monitor with 144hz refresh rate.

I was almost set to buy the XB271HU IPS monitor from Acer, as it meets all my requirements,

But then i came across the ViewSonic XG3240C, which is 32 inches AND curved. Not to mention it's 1440p and 144hz native, and cheaper! Problem is, it's FreeSync and not GSYNC like the Acer.

Is the lack of GSYNC going to be a huge issue at 1440p? Are there any other monitors worth getting with the same specs?
Ideally looking at non-TN panel.

Thanks in advance!

Ah yeah I figured as much. I was planning to keep AA off or extremely low, some people said that helps average around 90 to 100 on high-ultra settings on AAA titles.
Would you recommend any particular monitor? I kinda want to also future proof myself, because I think eventually I may SLI my 1070's and that should get me to 144hz comfortably for most games?

*UPDATE*
In saying that though, is GSYNC important? Is the Viewsonic display I was referencing originally good for my purpose? Or do you think I should spend a bit more and get a GSYNC monitor?
