I have just finished my new build it is also my first.

MOBO-AOURUS GAMING K7 X370
CPU-RYZEN 7 1700X
GPU-RX 580 XFX GTR-S BLACK EDITION 8GB
PSU-CORSAIR RM-850X GOLD
RAM-G.SKILL TRIDENT Z RGB 3200 MHz CL16
STORAGE-1XSSHD:SEAGATE FIRECUDA 3.5" 1TB
CASE-CORSAIR CRYSTAL SERIES 570X

As far as I am aware of everything is plugged in fine but when booting I'm lucky if I get to the installing Windows(Off a USB Flash Drive) before it turns off, I currently don't have a CPU cooler and one of my friends said that's why it turns off but I don't see why, can someone please explain. FYI I know I need to get a CPU cooler ASAP it's just I really want to get this thing running now!

With no CPU cooler you have a very expensive frying pan. You will...

With no CPU cooler you have a very expensive frying pan. You will be lucky if you have not permanently damaged your shiny new CPU. A very stupid mistake and with the amount of money you spent you should have taken more care...

Suggest purchasing a cheap aftermarket cooler. CM hyper TX3 evo's are fairly cheap and do a good job for the price. I hope for your sake it is not damaged. Ensure you take more care in the future.

I only booted the pc 4-5 times with the pc being on anywhere between 10-60 seconds so hopefully there is no damage

It's 50/50 to be honest 60 seconds is a very long time with no cooler and you would be suprised at how quickly a CPU can reach more than 100 degrees c

Honestly there wouldnt be much sense in buying a cheap liquid cooler and then upgrading after.

^above are two very cheap and effective air coolers. The 212 evo is the most popular air cooler by miles.

The 212 was a popular cooler but today there are better alternatives in it's price range. I'd get a Be quiet pure rock or Cryorig H7 over a 212. There is also the Cryorig M9a which isn't quite as good as the 3 above but it only costs $20 and will work for your purpose.
