sometimes when i turn on my newly built pc i get a error that happens when showing all the bios options/ boot options screen. this happens sometimes randomly and i can tell when its gonna happen because the RGB on my mobo go to the default red rather than colour cycle. this happens mainly when i unplug the system completely and sometimes randomly. after it goes through this i have to leave my computer off for 10s and go back on. i enter the bios and it sais the bios has been reset ( its done this everytime.) am i right in thinking its a faulty/low Cmos battery?

My Build:
ryzen 5 1600x
gigabyte x370 gaming k5
16gb 3000mhz trident Z Rgb
Sapphire nitro+ rx480
EVGA 750W P2
Samsung 850 evo 250GB (operating system)
seagate Firecuda (extra)

ANY help is greatly appreciated :D

That would be the first thing I'd rule out..the battery. Replace it with a new one.
Why do you unplug your system? You can leave it plugged in if you have a decent surge suppressor.
The other obvious issue is you've made settings to the BIOS that didn't take correctly.

i unplugged it a couple times today because ihad to use the cable to turn on a computer i was building for my uncle, otherwise its always plugged in. should i save the bios settings to a profile? cause i've only clicked save and reboot.
