I am currently experiencing an issue with my current mouse. I am an avid Rainbow Six Siege player and the mouse I use is an Asus Rog Gladius 2. Every now and then I have this issue where my mouse will freeze and it always seems to do it at the worst moments when I really need it work. I have used 3 different mice and this one is the only one to have the issue. Can someone possibly tell me why this is happening and if I can fix it without buying a new mouse altogether. (My mouse mat is a Corsair MM800 Polaris and my polling rate is 1000 just in case it's something to do with either of those).

Edit: This only occurs when holding both of the mouse buttons down. (Is yet to happen in a different scenario)

Solution
this is usually a driver related issue. if your mouse comes with a specific driver, best you install it as well.

you can also do the device manager trick. press winkey+s. type "device manager". find your mouse driver. right click uninstall. confirm it. then go to action. scan for hardware changes.

and try to give it a go. if not try to reinstall your nvidia driver as well. download the DDU tool and run it in safemode. and restart in normal. download the latest nvidia driver and isntall. restart.
