CPU Kernel Widespread Security Bug Performance

How much FPS will i lose in PUBG and other games by applying the security fix?

As the patch would decrease your performance.

Intel i5 7600
Intel Optane 900P
NVMe SSD

Intel i9 7940X (14 Cores / 28 Threads)
Intel Optane 900P

We don't have a whole lot of benchmarks available as yet. Computerbase.de did some Windows gaming benchmarks (which did not include PUBG) and the performance differences in gaming ranged from zero or within margin of error for most games to a 5% decrease in Battlefront 2. The patch is available now for download for those who don't have Windows Insider Builds so hopefully there will be more benchmarks available or somebody who plays PUBG and has the patch and similar hardware can weigh in on what effect if any it has.

Customers pay for the CPU to be at the performance at the fullest extent.

Full Performance as we pay for.

Customers also expect the products they pay for to be designed without major security compromises in order to get that performance. Performance shouldn't be your concern right now. You should install the patches.

Regardless, the performance should be at the fullest extent as they advertised. I pretty sure this issue opened up for many lawsuits

They also knew about for awhile and they sold the stocks after that,.
