APC BR1500MS UPS does anyone has it or know something?

HI

I decided to go with APC vs Cyberpower for their responsive and easy reachable customer service. ( I know, it is like choosing between WD HDD and Seagate, matter of opinion).

They have very new unit - APC BR1500MS - Pure Sine Wave UPS, which should be exact match for my EVGA Supernova 850 watt G2 80+ Active PFC PSU (I chat directly with APC support, and they said that it is most correct UPS for me). I could not find any reviews of this unit, hence asking question here.

Does anyone hear something, anything about it?

I planning to order tomorrow, if no response here.

Appreciate as always any suggestions on this matter.

I personally use Tripp Lite UPS/Surge protectors. Talk about great customer service: I just had a unit go down, I called them up, they're sending me a new one, no questions asked, and I don't have to send the old unit back.

Here's the thing: APC, Cyberpower, and Tripp Lite always show up on everyone's "Best 10" list, in one form or another. I bought my Tripp Lites based on reputation, reviews, and price. They also came with a USB cable and monitoring software so I always know the status of the units, plus they will do a "soft" shutdown of everything plugged into them if the power goes off for a pre-determined amount of time (mine are set for 1.5 minutes).

Enough of the Tripp Lite sales speech. If you like the APCs, go with them. It's unlikely you'll be unhappy with it.

Thanks
Personally, I have nothing against Tripp Lite, somehow I concentrated my search around APC and CyberPower.

Does Tripp Lite has Pure SIne Wave units around $200, or it is much more expensive? I am checking now.

Absolutely forgot - it should fit under the desk - I see many Tripp Lite units as tall towers, it is not going to work for my case. It is suppose to be smaller than 18 inches tall.

Compared Tripp lite and APC for Pure Sine Wave 1500 VA units. Tripp Lite is at least twice as expensive, so no go.

For the sake of interest, used https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator to see what my PC is actually using, could not be true - 967 watt, newegg simple calculator shows 710 watt, so yes, I need 1500 VA unit, not less than.
Eaton is even more expensive. CyberPower is not on the list, so I guess APC is a go.

Edit. Looked at Eaton Electrical 5SC1500 External UPS, about $100 more than APC, but a lot of people complained about loud fan - no go, My gaming PC is in the same room I sleep.

So it is now several months later. I am assuming you took the ACP unit. This is the same unit that they are suggesting for me and I would like to know how yours has played out.
Thanks
