Hi everyone, I had gotten a pre-built pc from Walmart on sale from Black Friday as a Christmas present and want to know if the pc is worth upgrading.
The P.C. I have is https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-Pavilion-Power-580-023w-Gaming-Tower-Intel-Core-i5-7400-NVIDIA-GTX-1060-3GB-Graphics-8-GB-Memory-1TB-Hard-Drive-Windows-10/803136621
Now I know if I want to add a gtx 1080 which btw I will be recieving free I need a new case but what else will i need for this beside probably more power supply?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated :)

First of all. How many watts is the PSU? I checked the link you provided and couldn't really find anything about it. I'd say a 500-600w would do fine if you plan to install a 1080.
If the installed PSU is around that wattage, please check whether it's from a trusted brand. We don't want it to go bad while under load.

Another thing. Maybe think about buying a SSD for it. A 240GB would be nice for boot up and other programs.

Cheers
