I just built a new computer 2 days ago. So yesterday, I was playing a game ( PUBG ), it was running just fine the other day but yesterday it was crashing numerous times to desktop and I restarted the PC without any issue. I launched the game again and it was running OK when suddenly my computer turned off without any warning and won't power on since. I pressed the power button and nothing, literally nothing happens which is worrying me now. I have tried taking off the power cable from the PSU and tried reconnecting after few hours but to no avail, it just shows no sign of life at all. I don't have a spare PSU with me right now and I'm thinking to take it to repair. I mean, I just assembled it a day before and now it is already giving me a headache.. :(

My PC specs:

CPU: Ryzen 3 1200
Motherboard: MSI A320 Grenade AM4
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V series 2x4GB 2400Mhz ( I saw it was running at 2133Mhz at the UEFI so I changed it to 2400Mhz)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1050ti mini
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm
PSU: Cooler Master 350w

What might be the issue? I'm really worried here :/

Sound like your power supplies went dead. Order online from Amazon if you have prime, it will be there in 2 days. Pick a high quality good brand at least 450W. I will pick 550W just in case you upgrade in the future.

your power supply most likely got overloaded and died, you will need to get a replacement, i would reccomend the evga supernova 750 at least, in my experience , the evga supernova g2 series is very reliable

also, the ram is not exactly 2400mhz, you should always keep the clock speed where it is at default to avoid frying something.

Oh, thanks for the info and suggestion! But isn't 350W enough for my specs?

Oh okay, thanks a ton for the information :) Why won't this 350w be enough for my specs though? Okay, I'm thinking to get a new PSU of atleast 500w. Will that be good? Also, I didn't tweak anything else beside upping the Mhz of RAM through UEFI because default speed of my RAM is 2400Mhz but UEFI was displaying the clock at 2133Mhz. Is it the reason for this? How do I tell if I've fried other components? I did sniff the PSU just after this happened and it did smell abit weird/burnt though. Sorry to ask you so many questions at once but this is so frustrating to me. Thanks again :)

Your Ryzen CPU draw 65W and GPU draws 75W. Add in fans and others, it is easily less than 200W. Your 350W PS should be enough. However, not all power supplies are equal and luck also play a role. Maybe you are not so lucky this time. If your PS is new or less than 3 years old, check manufacturer warranty for possible free replacement. Here is a list PS tier list. I don't make the list and it is about 4 years old but it should give some guidance on what to look for. Once your find what you want, open another thread and ask if it is good PS or not.

Oh okay, thank you very much. Turns out my PSU was dead, got it checked and confirmed at the repairs and they replaced the PSU under warranty, it was just a day old!
