Computer restarting and clicking shortly after turning it on

Recently every time I turn my computer on for the first time of the day and try to load up World of Warcraft (I don't know if that's important) my computer will restart itself and make a clicking noise, almost like a metronome. This has never happened to me before and it only happens once, After I restart my computer and turn it on again there is no problem.

Solution
Hard drive clicking, a GPU fan or possibly even PSU fan if you are sure it isn't a case or CPU fan clicking. If that psu is that old, it is highly possible that is it. Especially if it is of questionable quality.

That is known as the click of death. That is usually a precursor to a hard drive failing.

Clicking noise usually comes from the Hard drive. I've also heard of clicking from fans that keep hitting open cords.

So first thing is make sure no cords are near your fans.

Next is when you hear that clicking try to pin point where its coming from that would help us a lot too.

I looked up the noise of a failing hard drive and it seems to be a faint clicking noise, what I am hearing is a pretty loud. I hate to use this again but it sounds like a fast metronome also I have 2 Seta drives and an SSD which are all pretty new ( about a year old ). My room gets to around 90 in the summer and stays around 60 in the winter so I don't think heat could have caused them to fail and on top of that I don't really do anything with my computer so I don't think any sort of physical trauma could have caused them to fail. I think i am just trying to convince myself it isn't the hard drives but I don't know what else would cause it. My PS is around 6 years old so maybe thats it? Sorry for being difficult but I just don't want to spend money if it can be avoided. Thank you all for your help! ^_^

I realize this tool

can be extremely expensive and may be a technical nightmare to use. If you have the technical expertise and money to afford such a tool it can be placed up against your ear and the other end can be placed close to suspect components. If you are careful fans can be stopped momentarily with an eraser or similar smallish item that won't break the blades. Just be careful. Some fans can cut human skin with ease. I'm thinking Scythe fans. I suggest that to rule them out as the cause. I was sorta expecting you to find a cord to close to a fan blade like Mark suggested if it weren't your HDD.

https://www.hwinfo.com/ is a program I'd download. It will show you your drives and will have a circle or something to the left of the drive. Red, yellow or green it will be. If it's yellow there's a problem. It can show you if any of your drives have issues. Many hard drive manufacturers include or offer a hard drive testing utility.

Thank you for this insightful response, but this clicking noise is not being caused by my scythe fans.
