Still can't figure out whats making that click noise

Hi

I have posted a few times now about this in the past trying to figure out what is making the noise. While using my pc for games like Overwatch or PUBG i kind of hear a click noise (sounds like a switch being flipped) and when i got to bed i hear it randomly, it could be once an hour or some times more.

I thought it was the plug next to my pc (i run my PSU from it and an extension lead for the screen and speakers) but we got that plug replaced recently, the only other plug is on the other side of the room kind of behind a set of shelves that needs replacing soon. I'm thinking it could maybe be the extension lead the monitor and speakers are in maybe.

Or is my EVGA PSU sadly on the frizz? (put mouse over my picture to see my build)

Thanks!

If you can tell the difference, is it a mechanical click or an electrical noise? A mechanical click could only come from a moving part, so a fan or hard drive. If it's electrical then I am not really sure, could be coil whine however that is usually a constant noise depending on load and I wouldn't really describe it as a click.

these are the only sources of the clicking sounds
* a failing hdd (but you arleady took it)
* fans with dust
* powersupply failing (but this usualy happens during shutdowns)
* your speaker (but this usually happens during boot)

just double check your power chords connected to your mobo.
and do some spring cleaning :D

and open your case next time. and keep your ear close to figure out where its from.

well thats the thing at night i turn everything off at the back and at the plug and i still hear it. The most likely cause is a plug, extention lead or PSU. I will move my speakers away from my pc and see what happens.

Really hope it ain't the PSU. If so could you recommend a replacement, a non-EVGA one but is superb quality.
