I know the volts cards are not out yet and any information on it at this current state is only speculation, but which card do you guys think will be better?

also i assume that the 1060 price will drop when the gtx volta cards come out so how will it compare pricewise to 2050

Solution
As there is no data on the 2000 series we could assume things based on what we know.

volta Titan V is 24% faster than pacal Titan XP.

Let's assume that carries across the boards. i.e. 2050 is 24% faster than 1050. 2060 is 24% faster than 1060, etc, etc

With the 1060 being 100% faster than a 1050 I would theoretically assume the 2050, being only 24% faster than a 1050, isn't going to be as fast as a 1060.

I have reached 1900 mhz overclocking a 1050 ti so i think the 2050 can reach 2200/2400 mhz .
1050 ti is a 2.9 TFLOP and 2050 is a 3.6 TFLOP , i hope only for a low cost .

Hard to say really. Titan V cannot be the indicator of how next geforce will perform because geforce most likely going to use architecture that is more optimized towards gaming workload. My expectation is the next x50ti part probably will hit GTX970/RX470/RX570/GTX 1060 3GB performance for 75w.

No way to tell yet on the price of the 20' series. However, I doubt the price will drop on the 1060s because the demand is still high due to crypto. My guess is that the 20 series' MSRP will be slightly higher than their 10 series counterparts. I also am assuming that it will be nearly impossible to get one at or near MSRP due to the cryto-miners gobbling them all up.
