So I got an external mic (NW-700) and when recording with it in audacity the audio quality is astoundingly better when I record with "stereo mix" as the default instead of "microphone". The problem is I don't want to record with stereo mix because it outputs everything the computer is playing into one audio track. Please help!! Thank you.
