How is this setup?

Great. Before you mentioned the Radeon 390/390x. This card seems very similar to the 1070 that I've chosen on parts picker but is relatively cheaper. Do you think I'd be missing out on a lot if I went for the Radeon 390? Also, as far as power supplies go, am I looking for a particular brand or simply the wattage?[/quotemsg]

You wont be able to notice a difference with the a 390(x)...

I think you're really trying to polish up a half thought out build by throwing in a decent graphics card. all the games you listed are CPU intensive as well as gpu. But (arma in particular) loves chewing up your cores. You'll probably get away with playing pubg on medium to medium high custom settings.

Have you thought about a Ryzen system build? they come in nice bundles that are hard to beat.

Also - pc partpicker has a link you can copy and paste at the top.

How well will this setup run games like Arma, PUBG, Fortnite, DayZ, Battlefield? What graphics card $250 or less would you recommend?

What about the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB? I hear those are really popular. Think it would be up to par with that one? ^^

The GTX 1060 i listed obviously cost more, but will outperform the 1050 ti.

GTX 1050 ti
GTX 1060

read the specs and the 1060 is the clear winner.
For a budget build the 1050ti will do just fine.

If you really wanted performance go online and search for a used 8 gig card like a xfx radeon 390/390x. I had 2 in crossfire 2 years ago now they're worth nearly nothing. maybe someone is selling one cheap.
I'd sell you mine if I didn't need them.

Alright I've done some research and thought out the build a bit more and here is what I've come up with. Is this setup worth the money? Will it serve as a good gaming computer for games like PUBG and Arma?

Yes. That setup will serve you very nice.
32 gb of ram is plenty. If you wanted to save some money you can only get 16. Also HDD's are all different believe it or not. I use WD blue drives, but I have a SSD to boot my PC and for all my more demanding programs because they are so much faster. As for PUBG and the games you listed a WD blue will be just fine.

You wont be able to notice a difference with the a 390(x). Power supply wise - I have always trusted EVGA. They have very nice PSU's and have a very well established name in the market. Corsair is another safe bet to go with. Don't cheap out on your power supply. If that fries, your entire system dies.
