Intel core i5 7-400
Motherboard says h11om-a
Ram ballistix 2x4 ddr4
Psu black widow 500w bronze
Gpu sapphire nitro rx 480 8gb

I tried to upgrade to the intel core i5 7-400 today and everything went good and I have everything in place but my monitor still says no signal. This occurred first when I first finished building my pc which I fixed by switching plugs in my motherboard second time I pressed a button before I got to the page where it says no signal and deleted all data on my computer. I don't really want to re-download everything on my computer again so also solutions?

(I tried cleaning the ram, removing the battery, holding down the power switch on pc and monitor.

That is because the CPU is too new/recent and the BIOS doesn't know it -> doesn't boot.

Change back to the CPU you used before the i5-7400 (the one that worked), then update the BIOS while the old CPU is installed, and only after that you put the 7400 back in, it should work after that is done.

If I understood correctly, your PC won't start up/display anything after upgrading it to a i5-7400?

In that case, you might have to update your BIOS/UEFI first before you can use the i5-7400 on this board.

Put the old CPU back in, update the BIOS, switch to the 7400 again, should work then.

I'm trying to download the drivers for my mother board but I opened every file in the folder and non of them do anything.
