When I boot my computer up the fan sometimes starts spinning and sometimes does not. Anyway about a month ago when I was watching a movie on it, I noticed that it got extremely overheated and shut down on itself. And then I unscrewed it immediately and tried to blow compressed air into the fan to clean it up from dust and stuffs like that but it did not pay of. Though I unplugged the fan from the motherboard and plugged it softly again and then it started to spin at a very high speed and got slower then. I thought it spins regularly but after some time it stopped again. Now when I plug it by wiggling several times it starts to spin but most of the times it tries to spin but does not spin. I inspected the wires of the fan whether they are damaged with special tools like multimeter and checked the motherboard whether it is providing 5V regulary but everything is ok. Could anyone solve the problem or has anyone faced that before?
