Hello guys iam trying to mix 2 soundcards together like this :
1 soundcard (sd) onboard, 2sd creative soundblaster z.
I would like to get teamspeak sound from one soundcard and mix it to the other soundcard where the main pc sound is set. I need this because i want to set an eq to the teamspeak software.
I have an optical output on the onboard sd and an optical input on the creative sd. Than the headphones plugged into the sd - 5.1 solid, separate cables for each output , front rear center/sub.
I have tried plug an optical cable between the soundcards but i couldnt figure it out how to get this work together.
Maybe somebody could help me.
Thnak you for the suggestions

Technically, you CAN use two different output devices at the same time, but ONLY if one of the applications gives you the ability to manually select a different audio output device then the default one set from the Windows Control Panel. I know Teamspeak in particular used to have this ability, but I haven't used it in a decade so I can't say for certain if the ability to do this is still there.

Essentially, what the OP can do (again, assuming one of the apps allows you to):
Mic In (Soundcard one) -> Optical Out (Soundcard one) -> Optical In (Soundcard Two)* -> Analog Out (Soundcard Two)*

* denotes the Windows default Input/Output...

Windows can use only ONE device at a time for each of three functions: Default Playback Device, Default Recording Device, and Default MIDI Device. When your hardware contains more than one of any device type, Windows has a configuration tool where you specify which device is to be used for each of those 3 functions.

So, you could set up with one sound card as the Playback device, and connect its output to the input of a second card designated as the Recording device. But there will be limits on that. First, you will NOT be able to monitor what the Recording Device has captured, because Playback already is defined as another card. So, listening to the results of mixing in the Recording card will be hard to do! Secondly, how to move multi-channel audio from the playback to the recording card will depend entirely on whether there are enough connection jacks to accommodate all of them.

I have bought a mixer : Behringer XENYX 802
I will mix there the TeamSpeak output from the onboard soundcard with the stereo output from the other sd. I will set the EQ for both channels to get the best sound.
The output will be going to the headsets steareo input. Other 2 inputs for the headset : Rear , Center/Sub will be playing directly from the soundcard.
