I've checked the cables inside the case, they're coming from the front panel and connected to the Front Audio connection on the motherboard. It should work, but it doesn't. This case is an old one, the front audio panel never worked to tell the truth and I've had about three motherboards in this case.None of the cables seem broken or something.

So what could be the problem?

Were I experiencing this issue I would jury rig forward connection ability from the back IO panel.
Then again I suspect that a new case would resolve this issue - I hate rebuilding feom an existing build into a new case, I would have to validate that agony with at least some upgrade before I got into it. I am aware that many here derive great satisfaction from building and rebuilding - my mileage on that is way low!

I don`t think my Bios has those options. I`ll take a look later though and let you know what happens. Thanks.
