Hi everyone,

I have £2000 budget to build a new gaming PC, I was wondering if someone could help me design a build for that price which will last a few years.

If you could help that would be amazing

Solution
Yes if you can wait for few months and run your PC without a GPU then I would definitely recommend you to wait for upcoming GPU series from NVIDIA and get GTX1180/2080 at its release.

Intel i7-8700K is enough to handle not so demanding games at medium-low settings.

If you get GTX1180/2080 then yes it will perfectly handle games at 1440p.

Thank you for your help just two questions, does the motherboard have wifi? Is the power supply enough? Also, how does the pairing of motherboards and cpu relate as I know some of the newer models have paring motherboards.

What would you change if you had to spend the rest? What's the cpu like for gaming?

The only difference between B350 and X370 is that X370 allows for multi GPU support - if you don't need that, you're good to go. If you do need that, then get the X370.

The CPU is pretty good, if you want something better you might need to go I7.
But compared to Ryzen, intel still leads compared to most AMD CPUs at comparable prices.

Now this looks perfect! I am looking to do 1440p do you think this build can handle it? Also can you recommend a monitor to go with it? Also, final thing I have heard roumors that navida will release a new GPU this year is it worth waiting?

Thanks!
