Hello!

I have the GA-H270 Gaming 3 motherboard and G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB (4x8GB) 2400MHz DDR4 RAm (F4-2400C15Q-32GTZR). However the RAM is running at 2133MHz and not 2400 MHz. The reason I got the 2400MHz was because it was compatible with my motherboard. I went into BIOS by pressing "delete" button and found that under the advanced memory setting "Memory frequency" was grayed out and I could not change it. I even changed the Memory from Auto to Profile one but that did not help. Can someone please give me a run down on how to do it? Even youtube videos are suggesting the exact same thing that I did, but had no luck.

Solution
Motherboard specifications:
3.Support for DDR4 2400* / 2133 MHz memory modules
* To support 2400 MHz or XMP memory, you must install a 7th generation processor.

You don't have a 7th generation processor.
