Need help choosing a monitor

Hi i just built a new pc and i really want to know what route i should go with a monitor. I have a intel 7700k processer and a nvidia 1080 ti. I really want to know if i should go for a 144hz or a 4k and if my setup can handle 4k

It can handle 4K just fine, al depends on your budget as those 4K monitors can get very expensive.

I would just get a nice 2K 144hz Monitor if it was me.

Well its just ive been hearing that 4k cant handle 60fps or something Just id love the 4k but dont wanna mess myself over with low fps

With a 4K monitor you don't have to play games at 4K, you can lower the resolution in games down to 2K etc if you want too.
