games lag after installing new gpu

Hi,guys,i had a question. i had gtx 660 and i recently bought gtx1050ti and im getting even lower fps. any suggestiongs? properties:
AMD Athion 2 x4 641 Quad-core processor 2.80ghz
8gb
64-bit

A 660 us a pretty good videocard for an Athlon II X4. If you have increased game settings, because the new card has more vram, that would explain the lower fps.

It's hard to say because you don't say what game or games you've tried, what resolution, what settings, and what 'lower fps' means. Two frames per second less is lower, so is twenty frames per second less.

Download the up to date driver from Nvidia. Then when you run it go into Custom installation option and check the "Clean Installation". If that fails to fix the problem then try a program called DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and run that to completely remove any and all driver conflicts before installing the latest drivers.
