My GPU is a gainward GTX 680 and i have had it for 4 years now and now suddenly it seems to overheat. when idle on home screen the gpu is at 55 degrees and when i open any program like google chrome it raises to 62 degrees but when i try to play a game such as gta 5 the GPU overheats to 105 degrees when the GPUs max temp is 98degrees (stated by Nvidia)i havent expericenced and signs of my card dying (shut downs/blue screens etc)

mobo: MSI H61-P31/W8
CPU: i5 3330 OC at 3.2 GHz
GPU: gainward gtx 680
RAM: 2x4gb generic RAM
PSU: corsair VS650
windows 10 pro
1TB Hard drive
