Im going from a rx480 to a 1080ti strix. I uninstalled AMDs drivers, installed the new card, booted into safe mode and installed the new drivers. I cannot figure out why im still getting a black screen after the initial loading windows screen. I can get to bios and I can boot into safe mode by turning off the computer four times to activate the automatic repair. Also Ive swapped PCI-e slots which seemed to work, got into windows and confirmed it was the 1080ti driver...then went black.
Any ideas on where to go from here?
