I'm looking for a power supply with more than 1500 watts for a mining rig.

My 1200 watt power supply failed for my 6 Radeon RX 580 system. I have the GPU's, a hard drive, a stick of ram, an ASRock MB, and a 45W Pentium processor to power. Someone suggested that I really need a PSU with at least 1500 watt, probably more. I need help knowing what to buy.

Going on Ebay, I see power supplies like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1600W-Modular-Power-Supply-Mining-Rig-Bitcoin-Ethereum-Crypto-Currency/272995680866?hash=item3f8fcf8262:g:IwAAAOSwXPNaQCpQ

I'm also seeing power supplies like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/EVGA-SUPERNOVA-1600-P2-80-PLATINUM-1600W-Fully-Modular-Power-Supply-PSU/142645006562?epid=2276441219&hash=item21364e10e2:g:8bYAAOSw9KhaTb4g

My electricity is about 9 cents per kilowatt-hour. I'd have to save a lot to make up for the extra cost. I've also seen people use two power supplies to save money. Any help?

I have an ASRock H81 BTC R2.0 motherboard. As far as "the best," mining is about the bottom line. I may spend $600, and mining is no longer profitable a year from now. Does the multi-PSU solution really work?

The auction for that EVGA makes me feel uneasy.

Regardless, I am of the opinion that buying used PSUs is a HUGE gamble. A PSU can be failing and not show any signs of it on a meter or in use. IMHO, a used PSU is only worth about 25% of it's NIB street price at best. Yeah, I know he says it's brand new, but that box look anything but brand new. Newegg was selling that for under $500 brand new (brand new as in brand new with warranty). Good chance that PSU is not new and possibly even stolen.

Also, most people are paying $.011 - $0.13/KWh, so consider yourself lucky.
