I had a set of G.Skill sniper series DDR3 and a stick blew out so I’m running on 4 gigs and I am going to buy the exact set 4x2 I was wondering if I could add the set of 4x2 to my other set of 4x2 that is currently running 4x1 to make a total of 12 gigs of 4x3 so one full set 04 4x2 and another full set of (4x2 but actually it’s its just one stick of four gigs) to make a total of 12 gigs alright again adding a full set of 4x2 to 4gb ram same version and every thing all sticks set up to work in dual channel

Solution
You may and probably will have issues when mixing kits Elizabeth :(
Always best to have a single kit of matching RAM.

Your G.Skill kit have a lifetime Warranty so RMA the full kit if a module has failed. Check to see if they will offer cross shipping, (maybe not with G.Skill) as with cross shipping you will have no downtime just that your RAM will run in single channel mode till you get the new set.
