Hey guys, so I recently purchased a new 8700k, Msi z370 gaming carbon pro ac, and new Corsair vengeance ram.

I have all of those parts, plus a 1080 from evga. So after reassembling my build, I opened up coretemp to monitor temperatures. I have the cpu on water with a h100i v2, and had no issues. I ran cinebench r15 a few times to get a average on temps (60-68c) on my cores. Everything seemed fine so I booted up GTAV to check out the frame rate from the new cpu. After about 5 minutes of gameplay, my game completely froze. The audio was skipping, and I had no control over the pc. So I was forced to power it down manually with just holding down the power button. Now when I go to boot the pc, I get an “ez debug” led flash every few seconds, not rapidly on my mobo. I don’t believe it’s a temp issue due to my benchmarking, I’m really confused on what it is. Any help would be appreciated

My 8700K just died too. After a lot of troubleshooting and replacing both the motherboard, power supply, and different RAM, the issue persists. The system does not boot up at all. The motherboard LED lights come on, but nothing else. No spinning fans either. And the saddest part of it all, I don't overclock whatsoever. So frustrating to say the least. Anyways, I just submitted an RMA for my 8700K through Intel. Luckily, I have a second gaming system (specs in my sig below), so at least I won't miss any gaming time ;-)
