My computer's motherboard has an X16 pci express slot, but no way shape or form to power any graphics card. There was no pci power cable that came with the psu, and there is also no molex or 6-pin pci adapters on the mobo either. My computer is an HP 750-137, with an odense motherboard. If anybody has any advice as to what I should do, or if anybody has this type of computer and mobo and I'm just somehow no noticing something that was there all along, please let me know.

Solution
If your HP is a mini tower, and if your HP uses standard power supply connectors on the motherboard, then you can replace the original power supply with another one that has the power and connectors you need for your videocard.

If your HP is too slim to accept a standard power supply, or does not use standard connectors, then you need to choose a videocard that works with the power supply you have.

you need to install a new power supply

or get a gtx 1050 ti that runs on the power of the pcie slot alone
