I have an ASUS B75M-A motherboard. Expansion slots: 1 PCIe 3.0 x16, 2 PCIe 2.0 x1 and 1 PCI.
I have a GTX 1060 (doesn't support SLI). Can I somehow connect another GTX 1060 to the motherboard? I want to use it for mining. I've heared about powered risers but I don't know how they work.
Thanks.

well single slot can not be converted into 2 for the GPU but i think you can convert the PCIe 2.0 x1 via riser i have not used as my board has additional GPU slots in which i am mining
