Hey guys, recently I upgraded my build to ryzen (getting a new mobo, CPU, gpu, ram ) the mobo I got wouldn't show any signs of life, I tried the PSU again on my old build and the old build works fine, I got a replacement mobo coming but I'm scared that maybe the psu is somehow incompatible with the mobo and I might fry the new one. Can the PSU damage the new mobo if it works fine in my old build? What should I do?
Is my PSU or MOBO faulty?

It is compatible, but the VS series are not high quality. I'd RMA the PSU. If you can return it and buy different one, even better.

@alexoiu I think I might but at the same time I feel like the PSU is functioning because it works fine with my current (older) build. If I try the new replacement motherboard with my current psu could it ruin the motherboard? Because I'd obviously rather not spend more money than I have to
