Heyyyyy this is my first build by myself, and Im wondering about the compatibility of it all. If my choice in drivers are reasonable. If everything will fit in the case. If my parts arent low quality (I tried to avoid that.) I really pushed the boundaries of my budget already, so any improvements will have to be made in the future. Thanks in advanced. I just want to play WoW, lol, and have a footing to get into some AAA gaming when I decide to in the future. Thanks in advanced.

Sincerely, n00b

Actually, here’s the thing. Windows 10 is out there...I suppose you could say it is free. Grab another computer, grab the old usb stick (preferably 8+ Gigs), and download it via the media creation tool.

You can still use Win 7, but you may experience issues on that mobo, like previous user said, but if you can boot it up in win 7, u can use same link for free upgrade. Also, intel processors do have integrated graphics, so you do have a “backup” if the gpu fails

And knowing you have a Ryzen build, just don’t make this mistake. Be sure to put your display cable in the gpu’s port, not the one in the mobos port. Your cpu doesn’t have integrated graphics.

It should work but I would go a different way and get a much better video card. Smaller build.

Asus - STRIX B350-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard

Asus does not list Windows 7 as a supported OS. You may encounter USB problems with Windows 7.

Gigabyte, different motherboard manufacturer, lists this on similar models:

OS support:
1.Support for Windows 10 64-bit
2.Support for Windows 7 64-bit
* Please download the "Windows USB Installation Tool" from GIGABYTE's website and install it before installing Windows 7.
