I have 2x8 DDR3 1600MHz installed on my GIGABYTE (GA-79-UP4 (LGA 2011)) & i want to update the RAM should I buy 2x8 2133MHz OR go with the same 1600MHz..If it is possible to combine both without issues then the price tag difference between both is 40$ is it worth it , I mean in performance & by how much percentage approximately?

PS:the motherboard support for DDR3 2133/1866/1600/1333/1066

i have to choose between both:-
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 DRAM 2133MHz (PC3 17000) C11 Memory Kit - Black 1.5V(160$)

Timetec Hynix IC 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3 1600MHz PC3-12800 Non ECC Unbuffered 1.35V/1.5V CL11 2Rx8 Dual Rank 240 Pin UDIMM Desktop Memory Ram Module Upgrade (16GB Kit (2x8GB))(120$)

Solution
Use a hardware monitoring program like HWInfo64 when you are compiling your programs to see what part is being maxed out in usage. I would think your CPU would be doing most of the work, but you have a good CPU.

Overclocking the CPU doesn't really affect RAM unless you are overclocking via base clock BCLK. But you would want to overclock via changing the CPU multiplier/ratio.
First you didn't mention the rest of your system specs. The lower your specs, the less difference it will make. Either way it's probably not worth it. The two different ram will have to operate at the lowest common speed IF they even work with each other.

It may be worth it to get 2x8GB 2133 if you sold your old RAM for a decent price.

my system :
i7-3930k CPU (3.2GHz)
16GB kingston hyper 1600
GTX 770 GPU
1TB WD black
cooler master CPU fan
may i ask just for the sake of curiosity what the difference if i mention the system specs or not?really want to know , excuse my rudeness

Because the lower your system specs the less difference it will make. RAM speed is only beginning to matter on newer hardware because the CPUs are faster and may encounter a memory bandwidth bottleneck on slower RAM.

What are you using this system for? If gaming you won't benefit from more than 16GB of RAM. If doing heavy editing you might benefit from the upgrade.

I'm not sure you would see much difference in faster RAM or not.

I am using it mainly for programming as i noticed it's slowness while build/compile a simple apps & that's when the idea of upgrading RAM crossed my mind , i also consider to overclock the CPU but i am afraid of damaging the CPU because there is a lot of tutorial's on YouTube on how to do it but on slightly different setups than mine(((like RAM MHz & slightly difference motherboard model instead of GA-x79-up4 its GA-x79-UD3)))& i dont know if it is right to follow one of those tutorials or not since the values of his RAM MHz is different than mine , if you could help me with that i will appreciate it - i update the bios version to the latest version (F7) that is what all i can do for now,I also using for a little bit of editing as i have a gaming youtube channel & it is also slow while rendering final videos before updating..
