About 10 minutes ago i looked in amd catalyst and i checked hardware info because i was curious to see what my primary gpu is,but when i look i see this:

it's really weird because the gaming performance of my laptop is lower than it should be...
Why does it say that the gaming gpu is disabled?

Hi there! Most laptops do this weird thing with their graphics- if they're not plugged in or not needing much graphics power, they will use the built-in "integrated" graphics (That's the Radeon R7, I think). However, under intense load such as benchmarking or gaming, the laptops will use the dedicated graphics, in this case, the Radeon 500 series.

So- it says that the gaming GPU is disabled because it's not under intense load currently. Don't worry, it's perfectly normal. If you're gaming, just make sure your laptop is plugged in to get the best performance you can.

Hope this helps!
