So my desktop pc (Custom built) Recently would turn on for about 30 seconds (No display comes through), and then would just shutdown. So I figured it might be the power supply. I replaced the power supply with a new 550 watt rosewill. And still it would not start. Im thinking it could be the motherboard or the processor, but the processor would usually give a beep code if im not mistaken? Im honestly stumped and don't want to buy a new motherboard and processor. Thanks in advance!

Solution
Can you list your PC specification? If your PC had onboard iGPU, try clear the COMS, remove any RAM and boot device, boot the PC with iGPU.

I have a rosewill 550 watt psu
some basic intel board with an i7
16 gb of ddr3 ram
gtx 960 4gb
500 gb hdd
I tried your solution and just booted with the bare bones minimum. It worked. I then tried with the 960 and it worked also, im assuming its a ram issue. I will know for sure when I get home
