Can someone explain to me whats "Core Performance boost" on Ryzen?I recently built a machine with Ryzen 5 1600 and when i checked the cpu voltage in bios it was spiking from 1.38v to 1.41v without overclocking. It made me a bit worried since this voltage was at stock speed.Went and disabled the "Core Performance boost" and it went to 1.21v maximum.

Essentially it is like the turbo boost functionality from Intel chips. They clock above their stock base speed for periods when an application or the OS puts a heavy demand on one or more cores. It's normal.

See the review below:
Interestingly, the Precision Boost and XFR features are intertwined on our Asus Crosshair VI Hero motherboard. If you enable the "Core Performance Boost" setting, the 1800X triggers both Precision Boost and XFR frequencies based on your workload. But you cannot disable either feature independent of the other.
