Can u put to card on 1 motherboard

So this is stupid i know but I have a gtx 1080 strix but I also have a broke gtx 1070 strix and cuz it looks cool I put them both in my pc with a sli bridge it's fine right?

Umm if its broke you don't want it plugged into the motherboard at all. it could cause all kinds of other damage. Also your OS won't post if you don't have the PCIe Power connector plugged into it.

Well it ain't plugged in with any cable the motherboard only does cross fire and the you doesn't work it looks cool having to gpus tho

If you plug it into the PCIe slot it will STILL get a power form the slot!

Just don't do it.
